About Me

I'm Leanne, a 26 year old full time homemaker, part time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer on the weekends. I'm married and have two little girls. We just purchased a large piece of land in Central Ohio. Here, we plan to build our dream home that we will hopefully live in for the rest of our lives. We are going to build as much of the home by ourselves (and by that I mean my husband will do most of the building). It's going to be difficult, but very worth it if it all works out.

This journey we are about to embark is my inspiration for creating this blog. I wanted to document how we will build our house step-by-step, not only to help other people tackle home building projects by themselves, but to have a record for our children and grandchildren of how hard we worked for them. However, this blog is not entirely dedicated to the house and land. I will also write tips on saving money, cleaning, recipes, and anything else that pertains to our lives.

By the way, I'm also addicted to Pinterest. I find so much stuff on there, and if I write about anything I found on there, I will give credit to the original blog. Happy reading, and if you have any tips for me, I'm happy to hear them!
