Losing Ten Pounds in Seven Days: Day Three

I made it through the second day! I did cave in to another oatmeal cookie and I had a spoonful of pulled pork that I made for the rest of my family. I did do a little extra exercise to burn that off by going for a midnight walk. I'm always scared to walk late at night alone, but I can't have my husband go with me because the kids would be all alone. I did come almost face to face with a deer when I turned a corner and all I could think was, "Ugh, I better not get trampled to death right now." I guess I need to make sure I work out earlier in the day.

So far, the diet is paying off. I've already lost five pounds, half way to my goal after two full days! I still have five days to get through. I expect the weight loss to taper off, but man if it doesn't, I'll be losing more than ten pounds for sure!

Today, I will be eating fruits and vegetables and drinking water. We're also visiting our property today so we can take delivery of the tractor we purchased, and my husband will be cutting the grass all day while the kids and I adventure around and have a little picnic. Hopefully I can use this time to hike around and get some good exercise in. I'm always huffing and puffing trying to get up the hills on the land (in my defense, I'm usually carrying about 50 lbs. of wiggly children).

Total weight lost5 lbs.
